Six million children in this country have Long COVID. That number is not a projection. It is the current count, and it is still climbing. For the first time in modern public health history, more American children are living with Long COVID than with asthma. The engine driving that number is COVID reinfection. Every time a child experiences COVID reinfection, the risk of permanent neurological, cardiovascular, and immune damage compounds. And in more than 130,000 schools across this country, the building itself is accelerating that process. CO₂ levels routinely spike above 2,400 parts per million in occupied classrooms, concentrations proven to impair cognition, drive viral transmission, and guarantee the COVID reinfection cycle continues. Under 5% of schools have deployed any kind of comprehensive air quality program. Most administrators have never seen the real-time data from their own buildings.

We have done the math on what that silence costs.
